Beyond Audio is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona — 45 minutes by air from Las Vegas. Nevada is a natural extension of our Southwest territory, and for over 30 years the same crew that engineers Paradise Valley estates has been flying into McCarran to install, service, and support Las Vegas projects.
We design for the desert’s realities. The heat, the dust, the relentless sun load on outdoor equipment, and the networking distances that come with gated golf-course lots all shape the way we specify and engineer systems for the Las Vegas Valley. We don’t adapt a generic residential template — we apply the same climate-aware engineering that drives our Scottsdale and Tucson work.

The homes we design in Summerlin and The Ridges typically occupy half an acre or more, often with detached garages, guest casitas, pool houses, and gate structures that all need reliable wireless coverage and structured cabling. We design the network first — Access Networks and Araknis switching and access points, sized to the lot and laid out before any AV gear is specified.
Sun and heat engineering for outdoor gear
Nevada summers punish unprepared equipment. For outdoor installations, we specify Coastal Source weatherized speakers and lighting, Just Video Walls outdoor LED panels rated for direct-sun environments, and Lutron heat-rated dimmers throughout. We factor ambient temperature into rack ventilation, equipment placement, and cable routing — the build spec the desert actually requires.

We work from schematic design through commissioning on new construction projects, collaborating with architects and GCs on low-voltage rough-in, equipment room sizing, and conduit routing before drywall goes up. For retrofits in existing Las Vegas estates, we prioritize wireless-first architecture and minimal invasive work — the same outcome, accessed differently.
