Absolute Black gets there with darker phosphor (the panel is darker before it even turns on), LEDs about 10× smaller so more of the surface stays truly black, and reduced light absorption for less haze and a cleaner image. That is the off-state and black-level story competitors still struggle to match at architectural scale.
Uniformity, color, and motion — the rest of the picture.
Absolute Black delivers about 57% better uniformity so the canvas holds together without seams or hot spots pulling your eye. It covers 99% of DCI-P3 — director-intended color, natural skin tones, smooth transitions. Motion is tuned for how your eye works in dark scenes: 120Hz frame rate and 7680Hz refresh, so nothing feels off or out of sync.

Why LED beats projection in living spaces.
Projection has a ceiling. Ambient light kills contrast, lamps age, and the image lives or dies by the room. Direct-view MicroLED emits its own light, holds deep black, and stays calibrated for the life of the install. In a bright great room with floor-to-ceiling glass, there is no comparison.
LED also scales without seams. Want a 136-inch canvas (or larger) above the fireplace, or a 25-foot wall in a media lounge? Pixel pitch and panel count — not a projector throw chart.

The same technology family that fills an indoor Autograph wall scales out to the patio. Sun-readable outdoor LED handles direct Arizona light without the wash-out that plagues outdoor LCDs — backyard bars, pool decks, private game day at architectural scale.
