Beyond Audio
Home Automation

The brain of the house.

One platform, one remote, every system. Crestron and Control4 — installed at the highest authorized tiers — unifying lighting, audio, video, climate, shades, security and outdoor into a single, calm interface.

One system, every layer.

A truly automated home isn't a collection of apps — it's a single, cohesive layer that touches every system in the house. Lighting answers to time of day. Shades close before the afternoon sun hits the great room. Audio follows you from kitchen to patio. Climate balances room by room. Security arms when the last person leaves.

We design that layer from the wire pulled before drywall to the touchpanel scene that makes movie night a single tap. Crestron when the project demands maximum customization. Control4 when the priority is elegance and ease.

Crestron or Control4 — we’ll help you choose.

Crestron is the choice for the most demanding projects — limitless customization, every system imaginable, professional-grade hardware. We're an authorized Crestron dealer with deep installation experience.

Control4 is the choice when ease of use and clean visual design lead. Polished interface, strong third-party integration, faster to deploy. We're a Platinum Dealer; Control4's top tier.

Both are professional-installed, no-DIY platforms designed to disappear into the architecture and outlast the next three generations of consumer smart-home gimmicks.

What we typically integrate.

  • Lighting control — Lutron, Crestron, Control4
  • Motorized shades and drapery
  • Whole-home audio — indoors, outdoors, every room
  • Home theater and great-room video
  • HVAC zoning and climate
  • Security, surveillance, and access control
  • Pool, spa, fire pits, and landscape lighting
  • Networking infrastructure

How we work.

Every system starts with a quiet conversation about the home, the routines, and what should disappear into the architecture. We design on paper first — wire schedules, equipment lists, scene maps — before a single hole is drilled. Installation is sequenced with the trades, not added on after. And the handoff isn't the end of the project — it's the beginning of a 20-year relationship.

Sizing the screen for the room.

The television is almost always the anchor of a great room, and it's the one piece of the system most people undersize. In a room built for an automated home — tall ceilings, a wide feature wall, generous seating distances — a screen that feels “big” in the showroom can disappear once it's on the wall. Getting the display right is part of the design, not an afterthought, because the rest of the system is built around it: the shade scenes that kill glare, the lighting presets for movie night, the audio that wraps the seating.

To make the decision tangible, we built an interactive TV Size Visualizer— drag a slider and watch a television scale in real time over a real great-room fireplace, from 55″ up to 115″, with soundbar and art-mode views. It's the fastest way to see why, in a luxury great room, bigger almost always looks right. When a TV stops being big enough, that's where a direct-view LED video wall takes over.
